\u041a\u043e\u043b\u0430\u0436: \u0411\u0438\u0432\u043e\u043b\u044a<\/p><\/div>\n

The document published below is becoming public for the first time. It has been prepared at the end of 2013 and spells out proposals to amend Bulgarian legislation that have been literally dictated to the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), to the Bulgarian government and the Parliament from companies representing the Russian-sponsored gas pipeline project “South Stream,” meaning from Russia.<\/p>\n

The proposal to amend the law affecting the underwater part of the pipeline is marked “Confidential.” This information was first revealed by the right-wing Reformist Block. Its activists received under the Access to Public Information Act, (with the decisive help of lawyer Alexander Kashamov from the “Access to Information” Program), a list of documentation related to the “South Stream” project. The full text of the proposal, however, was not published until now.<\/p>\n

The documents were made available to Bivol by Iliyan Dukov, coordinator of the “Vox Populi” political party.<\/p>\n

“My goal is the same as yours, and such is my political expression, to be able to actually change things. It is important for people to be informed and to work in the right direction – transparency and exposure,” Mr. Doukov commented for Bivol.<\/p>\n

The examination of these documents shows in black and white how Bulgarian legislation is tailored to give advantage to the Russian project along with the overt intention to circumvent the European rules of the Third Energy Package.<\/p>\n

The lamentable end of this treacherous act is already known: The European Commission halted EU funds for Bulgaria and the “South Stream” project was frozen after joint European and U.S. pressure. Once again, Bulgaria’s reputation in Europe and the world was seriously damaged.<\/p>\n

Now, it is the prosecution\u2019s turn.<\/p>\n
