Dependence of Bulgarian media from oligarchic, corporate and political groups and interests is a symptomatic absurd for a country member of the European Union. The sensitivity of Western public media to this problem reveals its importance at the European level. The fact that Bulgaria has plummeted down by a record 80 places in the global ranking of freedom of speech is a disgraceful stigma of all Bulgarian governments since 2007 until today.
