{"id":31337,"date":"2016-07-20T11:58:24","date_gmt":"2016-07-20T11:58:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bivol.bg\/en\/?p=31337"},"modified":"2016-07-21T14:09:18","modified_gmt":"2016-07-21T14:09:18","slug":"two-bulgarian-politicians-exposed-as-agent-of-communist-secret-services-and-subcontractor-of-justice-and-development-party","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bivol.bg\/en\/two-bulgarian-politicians-exposed-as-agent-of-communist-secret-services-and-subcontractor-of-justice-and-development-party.html","title":{"rendered":"Two Bulgarian Politicians Exposed as Agent of Communist Secret Services and \u201cSubcontractor\u201d of Justice and Development Party"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Late Tuesday night, <strong>Wikileaks<\/strong> published nearly 300,000 emails from 762 mailboxes of the Turkish ruling Justice and Development\u00a0Party (AKP). <strong>Bivol<\/strong> found in them candid comments about Ahmed Dogan, the Lifetime Honorary Chairman of the party largely representing Bulgarian Muslims \u2013 Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), denounced as an agent of the communist State Security (secret services) and about ousted DPS leader and now Dogan\u2019s archenemy Lyutvi Mestan, whose new party is labeled a new &#8220;branch of AKP&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Much of the mails are similar to the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/bivol.bg\/en\/category\/b-files-en\/b-files-talking-points-en\">talking points<\/a>&#8221; of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), discovered two years ago by <strong>Bivol<\/strong> &#8211; a compilation of media reports and guidelines to Party activists what to read and what to say.<\/p>\n<p>Messages from the closed discussion group named &#8220;Hand in Hand for Turkey&#8221; have been often posted by AKP members.<\/p>\n<p>On February 10, the newspaper <em>Yeni Akit<\/em> published an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yeniakit.com.tr\/yazarlar\/ayhan-demir\/ajan-sava-ve-dost-13750.html\">article<\/a> written by Ayhan Demir, where <strong>Dogan<\/strong>\u2019s career as a longtime <strong>agent of the Bulgarian communist secret serv<\/strong>ices is examined in detail. It is emphasized that he was not some random informant, but was ideologically committed and the regime assigned key missions to him. In conclusion, there is wish for <strong>Lyutvi Mestan<\/strong>\u2019s party to become the sole representative of Turkish interests in Bulgaria.<\/p>\n<p>On February 11, the article has been <a href=\"https:\/\/wikileaks.org\/akp-emails\/emailid\/98317\">disseminated<\/a> to AKP functionaries by the party administrator.<\/p>\n<p>These publications coincided with information that <strong>Ahmed Dogan<\/strong> and controversial DPS lawmaker and media mogul, <strong>Delyan Peevski<\/strong>, were banned from visiting Turkey. The name of Delian Peevski is not found in the data published so far by Wikileaks (the letters A through I).<\/p>\n<p>Two weeks later, on February 23, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ilk-kursun.com\/haber\/252395\/persona-non-grata\/\">publication<\/a> in the not too popular edition <em>\u0130LK KUR\u015eUN<\/em> (literally &#8220;First Bullet&#8221;) openly designates <strong>Mestan<\/strong> as an AKP clone, controlled by the diplomatic missions of Turkey in Bulgaria.<\/p>\n<p>The next day the article was immediately <a href=\"https:\/\/wikileaks.org\/akp-emails\/emailid\/104934\">communicated<\/a> to Party activists.<\/p>\n<p>This sequence of &#8220;talking points&#8221; confirms that Dogan\u2019s record as a communist agent is one of the main reasons to be shunned by his Turkish donors, who redirected their attention to the new &#8220;clone of AKP&#8221; &#8211; Lyutvi Mestan.<\/p>\n<p>It is a fact that this information was brought to the attention of party activists some time after the actual \u201cdivorce\u201d between Dogan and Mestan, but their presence in the internal correspondence of AKP is further evidence of the repositioning of Erdogan\u2019s regime towards its puppets in Bulgaria.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Late Tuesday night, Wikileaks published nearly 300,000 emails from 762 mailboxes of the Turkish ruling Justice and Development\u00a0Party (AKP).
