After the publication of the article about the likely drain of FIB, our site was almost blocked by persistent checks from several IP addresses belonging to institutions and banks. We had to carry out emergency prophylactics and change the settings to be able to handle this traffic.
The most active IP addresses included those belonging to the Council of Ministries, BNB, the Ministry of Finance and FIB, the analysis of visits on December 1 and 2 shows. The record is held by IP addresses from 1 “Dondukov” Boulevard (the location of the Council of Ministries – editor’s note) with over 1,000 visits.
Starting today, all visitors who use internet access paid from the budget of the Council of Ministries of the Republic of Bulgaria will be redirected to a special page that will block access from office IP addresses. We will allow them to read our articles, but after business hours and not from their office computers so that they don’t get in the way of regular users.
The site is now operating in normal mode. We apologize to our regular readers for any inconvenience.
